So Hunter Dickinson travels with the team but isn't warming up. That is extremely odd. If he's sick, he shouldn't be traveling. If he's not sick, what's going on?

Maybe he's planning to transfer to Illinois after this game.

I don't know. They've played this season with essentially 2 or 3 big men on the floor at a time. Probably just drop it to 1 or 2 now. Plus, I generally like our guards' defense. Small ball doesn't worry me. We are pretty good at it.

Conditioning?? If I'm a top player on a team like this just out for a couple weeks, the coach would have to suspend me to keep me out of a game like this. Even if I could only manage 5-6 minute spurts. What a lame player and/or a lame coach.

Agree 100%, was watching Bulls and Warriors for Ayo and Malcom sightings. 3 players out in 1st qtr with little issues. Where in the world did Toughness Go? You would literally have to handcuff us or amputate a leg to keep us from playing. Man today's athletes!

FWIW, I'm a couple weeks post COVID and even going to get groceries is still an ordeal from an endurance standpoint.

Feel like that roughly translates to a 20 year old athlete trying to play a Big 10 basketball game.

I was literally the only employee out of 4 that was not out with covid this week. While I feel for you, it also sucked to be me. Hope you feel better soon. As of now, the wine is flowing freely and I am so ready to relax (hopefully) to a nice game.
