It's absolutely ridiculous.
Not gonna lie, the interior defense is a major concern. I was hoping we would have cleaned it up by now.
The quick full line change put our momentum in the toilet. This is one area I think Brad has struggled with this year. Really fast to pull a lineup that's cooking and way too slow to change up a lineup that is getting their butts handed to them.

We’ll beat Michigan, but our defense is just not any good right now. I don’t understand it. Everyone looks like they’re overthinking everything, and we can’t stop the ball. I wonder if it’s all of these “switch everything, switch 1-4” schemes leading to communication loss but damn, gotta stop giving up layups and dunks

For decades, Illinois was known as a very good defense team. Defense won us many games even when we had limited offensive ability. In my opinion. this team is far below our standard in the defense area. The term "Everyday Guys" means hard work on the defensive end... where is it?
