I LOVE this hokey black and white broadcast with the announcers leaning into the wardrobe of the time. This is wonderful.

Edit: The sideline reporter in flapper gear. This is so good.

We all know this is a big freaking deal for us, but it's nice that CBS is going all out to emphasize how big of deal that game was from a historical college football perspective. Sometimes it feels like we've gotten lost in the football landscape, but this is our day, dammit. We need to make the most of it with our play on the field now.

Best football uniform I can ever recall seeing, and so appropriate to today's historic game. Our staff kicked this one out of the stadium. Well done. Now let's channel Grange, Grabowski, Butkus, Howard, and Mendenhall and get after those Wolverines. Go Illini!
