This is what seems to happen every year. We do pretty good in the beginning have a couple farts in the middle and then we close really weak at the end of the season and then it seems like two or three games in the postseason and we're out. Just can't seem to get the cohesion that we had in 2005. No matter how good you are as an individual player, you have to play as a team. You cannot get in your own heads. Of course Michigan is good I mean that's why they're number one or number two in the country. They came to win and we didn't. We have to defend our home court and we are not. The big guys seem to be pretty soft. If you can't defend your own rim at 7 ft then you're not going to win many games.

And our big men’s response is to shoot and miss threes.

If I have one complaint it's our recruiting philosophy. I know going overseas is cheaper, but I'm not a fan of the European game. It's a super skilled style of ball, but it's one dimensional. Whenever we play strong, athletic teams, all you can do is hope for the triples to fall. Didn't happen.
