That was ugly. Robert from Illiniboard says turnovers were going to kill us today and so far that is the case.

So far we have gifted the goophers great field position for quick scores two times. The Illini are not good enough to overcome self inflicted damage like this. Better get it cleaned up quick if they hope to win this game.

Are we back to the days where we have to hold our breath when the other team punts? I remember being more relaxed during the Beckman years. (in punt return catching anyway)

This is the blueprint of a 2-10 year. We either look completely outclassed or, when we play well against a beatable opponent, we just shoot ourselves in the foot with turnovers and penalties anyway.

And now our only receiver is out(?)

Hard to get that image of the piece of garbage #8 celebrating after that cheap shot head-hunting hit. Hope that gets revisited by the conference during the week.

I hope we come out and destroy Minnesota now. I want them to lose all games for the rest of time after that hit.

Not to mention that AFTER he was ejected, he was being high five by players AND coaches. All while Turner was laying there...

What ever happened to taking a knee when someone is down?

Off the top of my head, I can think of at least 7 or 8 targeting penalties Minnesota has had this year. They. Aren't. Changing. Anything.

Yeah, I saw that too, they way the whole team was high-fiving McGhee and slapping him on the back as he went of the field was really disgusting. There was a player lying on the field not moving ten feet away while they were doing that.

Does anyone else think that Coach Kill wouldn't have put up with that nonsense? I'm completely unimpressed by Claeys.

Man, it seems like 90% of college coaches have no idea what they want to do in end-of-half situations.
