I am unable to watch, so I'm just scrolling through comments to get a feel for how it's going, while watching live stats. Saw the gif, looks like he caught it to me but I don't have the benefit of seeing all the angles.

Either way it's hard to believe it was conclusive enough to overrule the call on the field of a catch
