Underwood can coach. This offense works when the players do what they are supposed to and play hard. The buy in and progression of this team after a 4-12 start is unreal. Love it.
Seems like we are seeing less of the pinch post hand off and more post ups by our 5.

If there was ever a time for the "first 3 minutes of the half" speech! Litterally have the opportunity to end this game in the first 3 minutes. On the flip side, can't allow that same time segment to completely flip the mo!

We shoot every time the ball goes inside, no matter how well we are covered. Will we ever kick it back out?

We could scored 60 in this half if we'd done that.

When you work as hard as these kids have at playing at warp speed, it will all come to fruition at some point, and that point is tonight....right now. It is so hard for high school kids to transition to playing at Div. 1 speed, and we have seen that apply to quick, athletic frosh for two years. But just like repetitive training in any game of hand eye coordination...it will eventually lead to improvement. Tonight, not only are they executing with growing confidence every minute, but are of an aggressive mindset on offense and Tasmanian Devil whirlwind speed on defense.

What a great treat for Illini fans to see a combination of speed and execution only witnessed in Assembly Hall in the days of the Flyin' Illini and the '05 Final Game team. More importantly, what a reward for these kids for their hard work.

We have seen this level of play for spurts of 4-5 minutes, but not an entire half. Illini still had 9 turnovers but the rebounding stat, favoring the O & B by a 20-9 margin, coupled with exceptional shooting tells the story.

One would think this game is an assured win, but only if the speed, effort, and aggressiveness at both ends is maintained. Illini do not need to continue making over 60% from everywhere but they must play defense hard. Love the contributions from the bench and playing everyone.

Always hear about the player who "just has a knack for making a play." Does it ever feel like Kipper "just has a knack for not making a play." Hence laying on the out of bounds line.

Take the punch......roll....

The offense works so much better with Giorgi in. When Samba gets his footwork on par with Giorgi....the rotations are going to be easier.

I’ll settle for 50.

We haven't had someone that can finish like Ayo since __________?

How come when we get some calls, it’s all the announcers can talk about...sheesh, we’re owed Pookie

Nothing to complain about. Feels... so... odd... is this - what they call... fun?

They can't do anything with Ayo. They have long athletes and it doesn't matter. Too strong, too good of body control.

He's moving up the draft board every game

Shooting 60% just makes everything look better. But I’m not knocking it.

Putting my cup on, hoping we just keep the foot on the GAS!

Reminds me of Derek Harper a bit...long, smooth, and seemingly effortless at times.

I've said when Ayo hasn't played well, but he's been amazing. Still not uber athletic....and thank God because otherwise he'd only be here a year. Kudos to him...he's figured it out.
