So, you prefer the Bruce Weber era then. That's fine. I'm not opposed to it but I will say that watching Illinois consistently score 80-100 pts per game is much more exciting brand of basketball to watch than Illinois struggling to score 65-70 pts per game. I agree the defense is a major problem but they have enough offensive firepower that they likely won't have a repeat of the past couple of tournaments when it comes to scoring droughts
