Goofers will not shoot 7/11 from 3 in a half again this year. I know our D is lacking but, our opponents luck factor/slop factor has the be quadruple their norm when we play

By my count they are 4 of 5 on uncontested threes, so 3 of 6 on contested. Both very, very good percentages… but we should think about contesting more.

From what I have seen of the Gophers this season, which is more than I expected, this performance is an anomaly. If they shoot 67% from the ard, the Illini are toast. Even so, we lead at the moment, so what do I know?

Actually, that last three was a two so the are only 64%

Other than Shannon and stretches of Amani, we have truly lost all “nastiness” on defense that we had in December. I’d rather watch a Rutgers brand of basketball than this if it means we make it hard for other teams to score.

Rutgers is subpar this year. You prefer that we be a non tournament team?

Yeah it is. You can disagree, but they've made 4 that are heavily contested. Teams don't shoot 67% from 3 when they're wide open. Minnesota isn't getting all that many wide open shots. For example, we're shooting 42% and most of ours have been wide the hell open. Gotta give Minnesota credit for some of this
