They say the students are back from winter break, but not all. The ones that are there came back a bit early. We’re taking our daughter back tomorrow. Classes resume on Tuesday.

When Tomi puts the ball on the floor in traffic, nothing good ever happens. He is regaining his form from last year, but the guards need to know to only throw him high passes in the paint. Very glad to see he is progressing very well and has put his early season struggles mostly behind him.

To be fair (insert letterkenny gif), it looked like Boswell made that pass to him while tomi was looking away to direct the cutters behind him. He wasn't expecting to get the ball back so quickly.

This appears to be fairly unique to Illini fans. Will only get up for a “big” game and expect the team to cause them to cheer. It’s pathetic.

Not just an Illini thing but there are definitely other fans that do it much better. Always been my issue with Illini fans. They often wait for the team to give them reason to cheer instead of trying to create a rally. Something I’ve claimed since I was there 25 years ago.

I remember going to a game last year (can't recall which one), but there was an obvious moment where the team needed energy from the crowd. I stood up and tried to wave my hands up to those around me to get them to stand and cheer. I got dirty and annoyed looks..
