Weird my dad kinda looked like archie bunker, he hated ted valentine, and was born on valentines day.

He came out of retirement for this one game...once Underwood was hired he had it circled on his calendar: "What an incredible chance to T up a coach and toss him...I'll be on ESPN for Christmas!"

Valentine did a game the other night (same crew) and Fran Fraschilla and Seth Davis couldn't stop gushing at what an awesome all time great ref he was, known for his fairness and all coaches liking him. That certainly isn't how I remember him lol
