This is the most physical game of the year.. not favoring the Illini. They are not use to being bumped and pushed.. you can tell because of all the missed lay-ups

I don't care about the refs. If we can't beat this Mizzou team, we don't deserver to make the tournament and we don't deserve to be considered a good team. This is awful!!!

Can BU substitute Houston or Jones to see if someone can hit an outside shot. Also, the ball needs to go to Kofi and then back out.

Actually, that's exactly what it means. As long as they're consistent and both teams know what to expect....it's a fair game. Their job is to call a fair game, not an aesthetically pleasing one.
Unfortunately, It does not mean they are being consistent with their calls, only consistently making bad calls both ways.

Scoring would be helpful...

Illinois is significantly more talented than Missouri, and it's not showing at all. That is squarely on the coaching. Good players and good coaching should (almost) always be able to overcome any minor impact that officiating has on a game.

Well..let's see...how many open shots have we got on offense this game? Are you a proponent of the weave that wastes 20 seconds and does not get us a shot?
I bet there are more missed layups, missed bunnies and unforced turnovers than shot clock violations or last second heaves.

Point period.. Mizzouri's guards are better than our guards.. what does mizzory have? 5 threes? how many do we have? 0 our guards points period?, Ayo with 11.. with out him. we would have 15 points TOTAL... missed our last 12 plus shots..

I agree as far as “fair” and “good” are not the same thing”. However, I certainly do expect good and fair, not just the latter.

I teach for a living. If I was a crappy teacher in every class I taught, and my administrator wanted to get rid of me, I couldn’t say “well yeah, but I’m fair to all classes and they know what to expect!” Why do we not hold refs to the same accountability as we do any other profession?
