Mostly, all Cuonzo can do is prepare them all to give everything for 40 min. They have to get every rebound and loose ball and play aggressively on offense....but they don't shoot very well so he has no instant offense off the bench. Illini just are not a team of speed, quickness, and energy and playing helter skelter for the entire game is not in their DNA. But they can shoot and rebound with the best and have some pretty good weapons in Grandy, Trent, and Plummer to complement Kofi.

That would be all it takes to silence all the naysayers. Even like 6-8 points a game and those folks would crow so much given everything else he does.
There are things he did in the first half that will never show up on the stat sheet, but make a difference in the outcome of this and every game
