Too often Mizzou comes out with their hair on fire, defending like Tasmanian Devils, getting every free ball, and hitting 50%+ from the arc. That is not happening tonight. This Illini team is a bit slower, but tonight they are thinking and executing fast and furious....and shooting with great confidence.

There's a laundry list of great freshman seasons. Forget about going backwards to far because what Riley did for us the second half of the year, was incredible. It took him until January to really get his legs/confidence, but then he took off. KJ, last year, was all world until January, but then he fell off significantly.

The Big Ten is an absolute grind. It's not even Christmas yet. Our fanbase gets WAY too far ahead of its skis.
For me, Frank Williams or Kiwanne Garris would have to be towards the top of the list. Frank was just a spectacular talent.
Mack is a much better player than TO Barrett. Crazy he's only seeing that little playing time.
