It seems like that's the plan, we're just not doing it consistently. The ball is sticking in the post, we're making mistakes on defense, and they're shooting better.

Really sucks because AJ has been a major disappointment so far. Shown virtually nothing to get excited about yet he plays over DJW who shows flashes of the star potential he has almost every time he's on the floor. Idk how many more Aaron Jordan bricks I can watch without losing my mind.

I feel bad for AJ. He's a gym rat and a workhorse...but that wide open 3 from Lucas is a shot he really needed to go down.

Maybe Williams did something to deserve this? Everyone seems to jump down Groce's throat on this. I have lost confidence in him, but I think we shouldn't just jump to conclusions that he doesn't want to play him because he thinks he is bad. Maybe the coaching staff is dealing with a bad apple or someone who missed class or doesn't pay attention in practice. Who knows. Disappointing all the way around, but players earn playing time.

That is coaching.

Yeah if there is an offensive identity under Groce it's that we seem to rarely get easy looks. Everything just looks like a struggle

chicago Simeon gave us Djw Williams, Aaron Jordan, and Tate. Sad to think their Illinois experience which should have been awesome has been what it has been so far. Remember when Djw said he was talking to teammates and friends about coming to Illinois. Think he doing that now.
