Thanks, that was my point. Could we use him now? Yes!

Of course but there was no way to know that during that recruitment. We were rightly more concerned with a PG (and we all know how that went). Hindsight is 20/20.

Remember how fun the first couple minutes of this half were?

They are letting Nebraska get the shots they want. Defense really lacking in this one, that is more concerning than missed shots. We know this team can't rebound, we know they are streaky, but the defense is where they are hit or miss. And when they are miss, they are always going to lose.

That's not the shot Illinois wants, Aaron.

He really seems to be lacking confidence right now on the offensive end, which is a shame because he seems to be coming along pretty nicely defensively. I think he's got a ton of potential.

We are in agreement. That's what I was saying.

Illinois, where we always take hook shots from 1 foot out.

It seems like the closer we get to the basket, the higher our shot percentage. Hmmm...

This might be the worst rebounding Illinois has ever had. Getting out boarded 28-14 right now.

While true, it's disingenuous to say this without acknowledging that at the time of Morrow's recruitment, we had a healthy Black and were expecting Paul to be a big interior force. It's not like Groce ignored rebounding.

Looks to me like we are ignoring rebounding. :)
