Wow. That play was totally set up for the fg. It was the type of play you run to set up a game winning fg: run to the middle to set up fg from middle of field v hash mark

I noticed that too. A play just to get to the middle of the field. Very telling. Still, early.

Was just about to ask how you have a hands to the face AFTER a field goal attempt and replay shows refs completely screwed this up.

Have you EVER seen a hands to the face AFTER a play was over? Guess we have the D team refs tonight.

So it is more and more looking like if Crouch goes the first half, and they give the second to JGJr, as a game plan thing, I'm OK with that. Let it happen. And as others have said, the D is looking a bit over-matched up to now.

So the plan is to wait until we are too far out of it to play the qb that gives us the best chance to win

Crouch may be a nice kid. He may be fiery and have leadership skills. He just cannot throw the ball and is a limited runner. He doesn't add enough to have him out there over George, Jr. We can still run the ball with a traditional running game. We need to be able to pass the ball. Our best playmakers are nullified without a passing game.

So now it comes down to half time adjustments. For goodness sakes being down 14 -3 is not impossible to overcome. We'll see. Halftime adjustments.
