Rod Smith shares a lot of responsibility here. Nebraska has more than 30 more snaps than we do. Defense’s can’t hold up like that.

If you had told me Nebby would get 80+ plays on offense before the game....I would have predicted 50+ points from them. Without the turnovers...which I give full credit to the D for them....we would be getting slaughtered.

Positive note, Witherspoon developing into a player will help our depth at corner.

Lovie did not find a DC and kept himself in that position. If this season ends with 4 wins or fewer, and this is the defensive effort we get along the way, he’s got to go. I don’t want to hear anything about turnovers. Nebraska has over 600 yards of offense and 42 points.

The sad thing is a loss here, after last week, would be so demoralizing than I don’t know that this team will see a point of trying anymore. This has tipping point written all over it.

I was hoping they’d come out mad today and they did. And the result is giving up 600+ yards and losing despite trying your hardest.

Scheme is definitely bad. And bland. Stay in the same thing all the time. Too easy to outscheme.

Our qb has 78 yards passing. Sometimes you gotta win a track meet, esp in the college game. We got the turnovers, obvi our D ain’t good, but our O is light years behind the execution we are seeing on the Nebraska side.

They're at 42 and counting, so your prediction would have been right.

Too many offensive plays for NE. DL is out of gas. When we were up 14, only hope was to keep scoring on pace with them

Defense is just getting gashed. We won’t stop them again. Offense has to get going. We have made some questionable plays run on offense. Corbin has to quit running out of bounds and turn it up the field
