Ugly half of basketball. Nebraska shot 61%, and a lot of that was due to very poor defense against a team shooting well coming in. Not a recipe for winning. However, it is still an 11 point game, even with TSJ sitting extended minutes after his 2nd foul.

Maybe attempt to play defense in 2nd half, otherwise, it will be a double digit loss.

In any event, I would hate to be the 1 or 2 seed that draws Nebraska. They are way better than their projected seed.

I understand BU wants us to shoot the 3 but that only works if you shoot it at a high percentage or you rebound your misses. That is not happening right now

Game is winnable but have to treat every possession like it’s the last. Can’t waste them and have to limit them. Have to figure out how to prevent them shooting 60%

I don't know if we can get enough stops to make up the hole we have dug ourselves into. Please just focus and give some effort on the D end let's see what happens.

Well, our free throw shooting has been really good. And tsj is playing great. And it is just a game. That’s the only bright spots i can give.

Witthoutt bettrer passing and ball movement this is not going to end well.
Inconsistency and lack of quickness, not all that surpising.

After 3 halves of uninspired, sluggish, unconnected play...one has to wonder what the NCAA tournament play will produce for this group. Playing at the bottom of the scale at the wrong time.

Goode hitting back to back treys is a good thing, but play in the paint seems missing in action. After a season of patting our transfers on the back and telling each other what great insight BU had, they have seemingly been used up and it is puzzling. Q, Harmon, and MD have made this team deep and dangerous...and then poof...they are producing nothing. Not laying any blame but just pointing out a consternation for which the answer is missing...as are they.

Still hoping the Fighting Illini will start a second half war dance. Yet having to do that and dig out of this kind of hole night after night is a recipe for yet another season with a disappointing ending. BU has got to understand that...and I hope finds the right buttons to push.

Hawkins obviously did something to sit so long with no fouls. Maybe Mast lighting him up outta the gate is unacceptable for all this talk of Coleman being an elite defender. I know mast got Dain once too.
When Dain was in he didn't hardly touch the ball.
Coleman not healthy you can see it he is only playing hard in spurts. I just dont think he is 100 percent out there.

Jay Wright just said Illinois only had one day to prepare for Nebraska? I guess technically…sure. But come on, dude.

I mean…If only we had seen them before. He knows this is a CONFERENCE tournament right?

Lol. "Maybe attempt to play defense in 2nd half.."

I’m perplexed why we didn’t run any sets for Dain in the post. He’s got the size advantage over their entire roster, and it could’ve opened the inside-out passes for open threes (rather than passing around the perimeter and chucking). I know Nebraska is clogging the lanes and forcing outside shots but at a certain point you have to put pressure on the defense and force the refs to blow the whistle
