Game Thread: Illinois vs Nebraska

What is Nebraska doing out there? 4th and 1 and they go to an empty backfield when they're getting 3 yards per carry?
Works for us.....
Works for us.....
They should've taken the points.
Exactly what happened to us against Purdue and Duke.

Let’s go up 2 scores here on a long soul crushing drive Bielema is known for
They had a guy running free underneath. I don't know wtf that throw was. But we'll take it!
They look good until they don't
Rhule doesn’t call plays. Also spent his whole career as a defensive coach
Farrell tipped the pass

Katin Houser with a bunch of big boy throws tonight!
What a grab!
Clement- that catch- VERY NICE!
Clement and Dixon are our cornerstones on offense. Holy cow, what a catch.
Would be nice to establish a bit of a running game here at this point and keep the clock ticking. Whatev, just NO dumb penalties.
We just want it more right now. Impose our will and make them cry
Why does this game feel like a bowl game?

with a broken hand no less, really impressive game by Houser so far, constantly under heavy pressure - hope he can keep it up
Good job by Bret there.
College and NFL it makes no sense how the clock is handled. It seems prudent to just strictly enforce a penalty when play clock hits zero, but alas.

Master class time of possession control that quarter. Coach B working side official to ensure we did not have to snap again is, yet another example, why he is such a great head coach.
Farrell got a hand on it.
