I will say people have been really hard on Alstork because he hasn't been scoring but especially this game he has been creating a lot of opportunities for others. Definitely a plus passer and defender.

And he's had a good attitude about it, too. I know Alstork wanted to come in, guns blazing, and score a lot of points to help his NBA stock. Instead, he's put his head down, worked hard, and been a really selfless teammate.

His scoring acumen has still got me worried. We need him to be steady this season while the freshmen find their way.

Certainly more to the game than just points. I hope he continues to do well on the other aspects, and start scoring to his ability.

I see flashes of a guy that can score. Finishes well with both hands and is crafty around the rim. I think he will be ok in the long run. Biggest thing so far is he is not getting a big volume of shots

So the thing I'm happiest about is how we fixed what was broken at halftime and came out with more of the effort we've been seeing. Good to see us actually not just roll over and keep doing what doesn't work. Like we did all of last year seemingly.

I always have to comment on how much COACHING Underwood does on the bench during games. Something Groce never did. Hes always talking to players when they come out and teaching them.

Couldn't be any worse than Sir Helium Voice that we have thankful not had to listen to for awhile.
