I know in the NFL you can't advance a fumble in the endzone unless the fumbler recovers. It would go back to spot of fumble. No clue about college rule.
That was clearly a fumble and recovered by us but NW stole the ball from us.

I think Coach Henry is a great man. He is not the defensive coordinator that we need. Not close!
Northwestern offensive line is by far the worst in big10 and we are only rushing 4 and giving their Qb tons of time to throw. Why are we not bringing the house, blitz the fool.

Beginning to feel that way. Although, it’s not like our offense has been inept. A couple bad drives, but I think we scored on three of our five. The problem right now is we need more of the defense from the first 13 minutes of the second quarter, and a lot less of the last two minutes. Depending on which one we get depends on whether or not, we win this game.
Tough on the fumble, but never should have been on the goal line in the first place.
We have to lead the country in TDs given up in the last 2 minutes. Do we just get conservative or what?
Edit: we got our pick 6 with 1:09 left and still gave them plenty of time to score. Just terrible.

I don't know what to say if Henry doesn't come out and blitz in the 2nd half. We can't cover anybody anyway. Only chance we got is to pressure QB and hope for mistakes. Rushing 3 is so foolish, and has been all season. So obvious, it's pathetic.

Well most of our starting secondary is out, which doesn't help. And we just flat out stopped pressuring the QB.

On the one hand, you’d like to grind it out on the ground and run clock to keep your DBs off the field. But on the other hand, you’re extremely thin at RB, with two guys not at 100%.
They’re gonna March right down the field aren’t they?
No pressure AT ALL on the qb.

Alright, I’ll say it … EVEN with the pick six, sometimes our secondary looks like they are ready for basketball season.
