I wish I knew. Hasn't worked all season. Not sure why Henry continues to call it in high leverage situations. Why do they stick with this?
Yah I get it, but seems like that philosophy hasn't worked all season. We will seeTo give them extra players to cover receivers in the secondary and hide how bad our DB's are.
I completely agree....I would love to see more blitzingYah I get it, but seems like that philosophy hasn't worked all season. We will see
Guessing that they trust their all world defensive linemen(preseason thoughts) to get pressure by only rushing three. IN THEORY, if you can get that and drop the rest into coverage....in obvious passing situations, you'll be very difficult to beat. When said defensive linemen end up in a stalemate, as they have much of the year, you're screwed.I wish I knew. Hasn't worked all season. You'd think we'd have a defensive coordinator say "we have Newton and Randolph, let's see you account for that." But no, it's instead, "what defense can I call that neutralizes this advantage as much as possible?" Just painful watching it every single gameQB had ALL DAY to throw that TD. I'm a basketball guy, but isn't it basic football defense to put pressure on the quarterback?? Why do we so often not send enough people toward the quarterback? So frustrating..
I'm seriously at a loss to understand what is targeting. He clearly led into helmet to helmet contactWasn't that helmet to helmet?
