Game Thread: Illinois vs Ohio State

Our boxing out is very concerning as we approach March.

Not as concerning as our boxing. We've been practicing the wrong thing for conference play.

Sadly, there's not much he can do with this team if the guards can't shoot it. His work has to be done with the construction of the roster. This year, his entire backcourt is undersized, Williams at 6'3" is trying to play post defense on 6'8" and there's no visible sub for Kofi when he goes to the bench, much less has a bad game.

This is what they're running with this year. It's shoot the three well and win or shoot it poorly and lose. Not much gray area.

Agreed. Roster upgrade essential. Program is going in the right direction, but considerably more is needed.

I am never really one to bag on the refs (can go through my history) but this game is absolutely something else.

Had to do something to fire up the team and the crowd, and maybe work the refs a little. It was a hail mary, but we were at the point where we needed a hail mary.

He makes plenty enough to pay the fine, but don't think fines are tax deductible.

I think Kofi is going to come back for his senior year. I would imagine he doesn’t like this at all but than again he gets hacked and gets no calls and the other team gets all the calls. I’m getting tired of it.

Agreed, the biggest mistake was not getting the FR more time and playing the seniors too many minutes and the team is tired.
