I think Boz to the bench is a good thing also. His metrics are not good, and frankly DGL is outplaying him badly

Boswell has been struggling in B10 play but the metricswise comparison isn't as bad as the 0.999ppp offensive efficiency numbers look compared to DGL's 1.158ppp. Boswell's rebounding rate is significantly higher 5.7/12.5 vs 4.8/7.0 and his assist 18.7 vs 5.1 and foul drawn and freethrow 4.5/41.0 vs. 3.3/228.6 rate are much much higher and the Illini have been a better defensive team 0.974ppp vs. 0.986ppp with Boswell on the court.

So overall, Illinois does lose a lot when Boswell isn't on the court in favor of DGL despite the increase in individual offensive efficiency. It's a gamble, but if it can get Kylan back on track, it's a good gamble.

Because he has several inches on Boswell and b/c BU has a love affair with him over Riley. Pretty clear at this point

We should've recruited another 5 with the ability to not be easily bumped and shot over in the post. Used a Scholly we used on the redshirt freshman or Booth to have that depth incase someone has fouls or is out.

Because after Morez so then Tomi and unfortunately, Ben is our best option. That was a roster construction mistake not having a big bodied guy for post depth in this league.
