I actually don't think we played that bad, this team just is broken shooting the ball right now. OSU also being red hot from three doesn't help at all
The frustrating thing is that if you're not hitting from distance, you gotta keep taking it to the hoop and trying to score inside. I know that strategically you don't want to abandon the 3 and let defenses clog the lane, but it's frustrating to think that we could win with 2s and stops, but because we're trying to spark our 3-point shooting we're losing games we could win.

We've been the best team in the B1G over the last several years. Every team is coming for us. We will continue to get their best game.

Either we match it or we suffer. We are a much better team with DGL and Morez starting with Tomi back.

tired of this, we've been spoiled last couple of years tbh

Analytics say let him shoot the 3. Maybe we should spend less time worrying about analytics and more time focusing on shutting down the hot shooter. Can we demote Hamer to water boy?
Initially it makes sense to follow the analytics, but in-game adjustments need to be made. I’ll be surprised if we don’t change the way we guard him.

I hate admitting Ohio State is good but they are. We should still win. Need to come out strong. Really looking at DGL for an extra punch.

It’s time for an offensive philosophy reset, highly inefficient, easily disrupted out top. Too much dribbling, rushed and without confidence. I’ve seen 5 out enough at different levels to dislike it. This team has to have the 3 ball stars line up to do well in the tournament, high risk with the obvious stats this deep in the year.

Bobby Knight was very rigid and for so long was inflexible in his philosophies, but adjusted, and obviously one of the most successful guys to do it.

It seems like Brad struggles with when it looks and talks lije a duck, it’s a damn duck. He’s been flexible in his past, but only after too much evidence was necessary to force change

Playing to our losing streak. Bad shooting. Bad defense. Still too many turnovers. Morez doing a great job cleaning up our messes, but shooting 20% on threes means we lose.

So disappointing. Hope the tide turns in the second half.

gotta keep chucking 3s, especially the open ones. the only way out of this funk is to shoot out of it

As much as I could imagine this team as a final four caliber team a month ago, it is hard to see them as much more than a bubble team right now. When you live and die with 3 point shooting and consistently can’t throw it in the ocean then you are on a sinking ship

We made 3 of our 15 3-point attempts. Do I even have to say it? Brad, WE ARE NOT A GOOD 3-POINT SHOOTING TEAM!! Please stop it before we lose another game to an inferior team! Please go inside and either a) score or b) draw a foul.

We are far from playing well. When you give up 12 points on turnovers in a half - at home - you are not going to win at this level. And shooting the same amount of threes as twos while hitting 1 of 5 from three is unconscionable, I don't care how open they were. This team has proven beyond a shadow that they are not good at shooting them.

Not to mention our "D" allowed a team to drop 42 on us in a half at home. You think Trent, DWill, et al would have given that many up?

Trey White is the third reason for our struggles, behind Hum and KB. Seems to be caught watching too much rather than staying focused on the game.
