Game Thread: Illinois vs Ottawa (Exhibition)

In my totally uninformed opinion this sort of game does set up a more interesting background story for the Kansas scrimmage - not a true game in its own right - but you have to expect those the Illini and Jayhawks to put good effort into the scrimmage just out of pride. It could reveal much more even though it is but a fundraiser in name.

We’ll learn a lot more about this team during that exhibition. Hard to find much to complain about when you’re up 50.

I am guessing that the Illini - Jayhawk game will show a lot. No one wants to lose that game, televised. It won't count on the record, but I bet it will influence the opinion of the press and the fans.
