Disagreed - with McLaughlin as the kicker, the coaching staff knew they could get three points and knew they would get the ball to start the second half. Short term risk/reward is high if you take a shot at the endzone, but this coaching staff plans on it being close all game. They wanted their points and they will always make that call. I'm fine with it.

I’m emotionally prepared to lose this game, but we are going to snag a few Ws in conference. If we continue to play like we did in this first half and generally improve, we should at least be competitive in every game on our schedule.

Not playing scared, playing smart. Its only the 2nd quarter and we get the ball after the half... Get points and go into half time with momentum. Now in the 2nd half I would agree with you
