Straw poll for those in the forum since there's nothing better to talk about right now...

How many of you think that you could beat Red Grange in the Jimmy John's Freaky Fast run they do on the field between the 3rd and 4th quarters?

This might be hard game to win. But overall i’m much more encouraged than discouraged. Altman is getting a good education today. The defense looks much better against a more traditional stodgy big 10 offense. The right tackle spot has looked better. Newton is dominant. All in all a good day.

But 5 turnovers is a lot.

4 interceptions and a fumble. 4 interceptions and a fumble. Self inflicted wounds cost us a win today, along with poor utilization of Reggie Love. Lunney has to do a better job of getting him involved on some screens and different looks. This was so winnable that it hurts.

Nothing to lose by letting Paddock finish the 4th Qtr at qb. Luke is hurting some and his game is off. Long term, he is our starter, but this is a great opportunity to see if Paddock can play at this level and give us a spark. He was good in the MAC over a couple of seasons.

Is Luke suffering from that blow to his head he took last week? The one where the refs swallowed their whistles and acquired Sergeant Schultz Syndrome?

Our O-line has officially taken 5 steps back. Flat out horrible. They might leading the nation is allowed sacks and as I type this. That’s #4 for Luke. It’s time to put him on the bench.

This is the reason he has lost the job for starting QB twice in his short career. They must have been seeing this version of Luke in practice.
I'm glad you're not the coach. The back up is less mobile than Altmeyer. Things would be even worse.

He's the fastest white dude I've ever seen. I want him to go race The Freeze in Atlanta.

Woof! I still believe in Luke. I can't tell if he just doesn't have any trust in the O-line and receivers or is it one of those days where he left any ability to make a quality decision at home - I've had those days in my youth.

I hope it doesn't come out that the team was celebrating a birthday before Penn St. came to town again.

Was a sprinter in college. Still pretty darn fast, despite being middle-aged. I can say with 100% certainty no one in this thread, or likely on this board, is beating that dude.
