Why are we keep giving the ball to McCray?

Yeah McCray fits this offense like Peyton Manning fits the triple option.

Either:

1. Add some I-formation or Pistol if you want to use McCray
2. Put in Laughery, Feagin, or use some Love a lot of more in you want to stay in shotgun.

Again, the season really starts September 30 against Purdue, this and the FAU game should more or less be decided already, just do whatever is needed to prepare the team for that game and the rest of the season.

My prediction of 2-2 may be turning out right if we beat Florida Atlantic next week and that’s a big if at this point, the way the offense is playing.

And it seems for completely different reasons each game.

Game 1: extended every drive with dumb penalties (although, I think TOP was fairly close)
Game 2: defense couldn’t do anything
Game 3: offense looks inept

The offense looks bad mostly because Penn States D is really good. Might be the best D we face all year (them or Iowa).
