That's a great call. I think that him getting more than 10 minutes a game has been a move to not piss him off. He's been awful. Hoping he puts something together tonight.
Will has played big for us before. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that he does it again in this game.
Idk, starting Will might light a switch for him who knows.

Definitely not optimal, but the staff is making the right decision. Don't want to compound a minor injury (assumption here) and make it a long term issue. The team has much bigger goals than this one game. Major opportunity for another player to have his moment. I think this will be good for the team in the long run. Last January the team grew out of necessity with TSJ out. Hopefully this is only a one game situation, but much rather all of this happens now instead of March.

The way DGL has been playing, I feel like he deserves the start, but I have faith in Brad.
I have to ask how anyone could know if it's significant. If it's significant enough to keep him out tonight, with no meaningful medical evaluation(MRI, X-Ray, etc), how can we remotely take Saturday into consideration?

I noticed in the Washington game several times that KJ was pulling or rubbing his left side around the waistline…I know it’s not the arm but wondering if it’s some how related…didn’t really seem to effect his play much…hopefully it’s a minor situation and KJ will be back going strong Saturday 
If it happened earlier today which is what is reported that should be enough time for at least a basic assessment

KJ takes his teammate duties seriously, like he does everything apparently. He’s visible out on the floor dapping everyone up while they warmup. Holding his arm a little stiffly though.
We beat the PSU curse tonight even with out KJ!
Sounds like KJ tried and couldn’t do it.. makes me think this won’t be a long term thing. Still like us tonight pulling this out. DGL legacy game? Riley legacy game? Humrichous shooting? Let’s see what these guys can do.

He (KJ) just tweaked a nerve in the muscle in his forearm... Being held out for precaution. If everything checks out tomorrow, he'll be good to go against USC but won't be surprised if he waits one more game and comes back at Indiana. We can win tonight and Saturday night without KJ.
