Brad still has plenty to drive home... In a blow out win. Win win for everyone

You are, by far, one of the most insightful, plugged in people on the board. I love reading your stuff. That said, when this style didn't work versus TN because shots weren't falling.....donors were apparently out for blood because we lost.

This is going to be a highly, highly, highly volatile offense all year. The pendulum is going to swing in both directions. Shooting all of the perimeter jumpers almost got us beat at Washington and did get us best versus NW and TN because we couldn't properly close the game out. HOWEVER, there's no team in the college basketball planet that could have beaten us versus Oregon.

Living by the three and dying by the three is a real thing. I'd like to see us be able to run sets because, in the long run, it's what wins...most notably late in games, but when the shots are going down....it's damn fun to watch.
It has been our defense that has fueled this. We aren't shooting well...

I would put Illinois in the top 5. This team is great! Better than last year I think. Defense has been outstanding tonight. Not even giving up any 3 pt attempts even.

Hopefully KJ’s injury isn’t too serious

Alright, I love a lot about this team, there are so many things I could describe that stand out to me. BUT I think the lack of EGO is the best attribute.

How do I know? The way the ball moves, how often we pass up a good shot for a great shot, we just play unselfishly.

I remember early in the year White played like he was trying to "get his" and I'm not sure what switch flipped, but he plays like a completely different guy now.

This is fun... like really fun to watch.

1. We lost on a last second layup to Tennessee. Wasn’t like we got blown out.

2. Rich people are impatient and think they are really important(they are important) but they don’t really know much about the actual sports they are donating too for the most part.

3. We run a lot of stuff. If we truly loved by the 3 and died by the 3 we would have a lot worse record this year.
All fair responses:

1)You're preaching to the choir about the TN game. It was disappointing, but there was far more good than bad. The bad was execution late.

2)Agreed 100%

3)How many truly close games have we been in? Of those, what's our record? I could be TOTALLY off base, but it sure seems like our default possession is find a shooter and let it ride. Tomi is an ELITE (your welcome Brad) passing big. I don't think enough offense runs through him.

playing with a foreskin injury is tougher than you might think
