Game Thread: Illinois vs Penn

[FloridaMan]

Twin towers!

[March2TheArch]

Tomi to Z alley oop.

Then they fight over a DReb.

[PNWIllini]

Dunk it bro!

[skyIdub]

So, the air raid siren is literally a warning to the opponents.

"You about to get bombed."

[DeeIL89]

Ethan's shooting motion is a thing of beauty.

[LuckyIllini]

Play the brothers together

[FloridaMan]

Steve Smith is so disappointed seeing this! And I love that!

[Altgeld's Bells]

We just keep going fast. Run run run.

And do we only have one or maybe two players (if you consider Jakstys) that could be considered a bench warmer?

[March2TheArch]

Coleman is a lock for all B1G-freshmen team. Brown a dark horse.

[jimbo72]

Brown has great future. Boy his defense is a joke.

[SprintingShellyClark]

Ethan is so good and makes everyone on the court better. So fun to watch.

[hoopsfan47]

Wow Coleman. He is scrappy.

I can't believe how deep we are. I don't remember this many players getting in games this early ever.

With the pace of play we have seen, we are going to need them all at crucial situations. Getting room for them all to play this early and have tremendous success just might be a big lucky break. Time will tell. Not sure how Mirk will fit into this kind of pace. I know he likes it...but will he be able to keep up for 30 min. a night. Another time will tell.

Very smooth very pretty.

[jimbo72]

Ethan's shooting motion is a thing of beauty.

His defense is el matador

[New Creation]

Only complaint I have is mirk and Jake are hurt.

I don’t miss the JG days.

[Wazababybrucedouglaskid]

We have dogs everywhere!!!

[wncillini]

Penn is a very well coached team with some talent. Good win.

If i could improve 1 thing it would be the twins start knocking down some 3s.

[eas23]

Tomi's 2/3/7 line in a game we lead by 45 is funny.

[skyIdub]

Lincoln is gonna get a steal and a windmill dunk before this season ends.

[PNWIllini]

FRANCON

[FloridaMan]

Marillo starting to flash with his hustle

[aaeismacgychel]

There’s old Fran. Miss that fire

[Fly Illini Fly!]

Not sure but unless the plan was put weight on z because he's going to lose it as the season goes on.......do not like. He looks so freaking sluggish. His spastic energy and quick hops were his superpower. He still looks more athletic than his bro, but still sluggish.

Disagree with all of this. Z has been awesome.

6PTS, 9 Rebs.

Teams get very few shots at the rim when he’s in the game.

[PNWIllini]

Brad is an elite CEO/scout

He has great assistants. Including Tyler.

[CDRUSN]

QC took the Penn defense, then washed, spun, dried, fluffed, and folded them on that last special move underneath. He almost got Fran clapping out of respect.
