Oh shut it. With the expectations this season and the fact that it took 6 quarters to get an offensive TD plus our experienced defense getting shredded through the air, all criticisms have been valid so far. Get off your high horse with that type of statement. Even if they were to win this game, the concerns of the Lovie era remain.
Calm down. It's not that serious.

No. I mostly just follow along....but have been doing this awhile. Let's just say I have been around long enough to remember the Jim Valek era. One year we did not even have a guy we trusted to kick extra points....so we just went for 2 if we happened to score. LOL. This isn't that bad. Just saying. Does not make me happy, but bitching about it does no service unless you are big donor. I doubt any of the "fans" posting here meet that criteria.

Look at us, in the redzone multiple times in a half.

Expressing emotions in group therapy is often thought to be very effective method by which to relieve emotional distress. Save your distain for someone who cares whether or not you remember the Valek era.

So he has trouble with the mesh and is loose with the ball but Taylor is pretty fun to watch. He’s moving the ball and it’s exciting.

I repeat, why is Barnes not out there playing D?

I was extremely excited when Taylor signed with Illinois and even with the couple of issues he has had in this game early, he really is exciting to watch. I am happy he is getting this chance.

I've not read all of the comments on here and so this may have been said already ---- but Taylor seems to have a really strong arm and tends to put a little too much zip on the ball at times (frequently, even). Hoping to see more of a touch as he continues to get more snaps.

I have the say the team is not quitting. Only down 7 at half considering how we played early, this is not a bad place to be

Agreed. I'd rather watch a drive down the field ending in a turnover than a 3-and-out and punt (Robinson)

He's been put in a tough situation - he has happy feet and needs to settle before he throws but god bless him for scrambling and finding some open receivers. And please, no more fading backwards high school throws. Can't get away with that here. But for the most part he's handled it well.

I don't have any issues with most of the team play (other than our Defensive backs just continuing to leave receivers open). The issue so far has been getting this team ready to play and that's on the coaches - and for G's sake - why is Barnes not in there after the week he had last week?

Robinson was the one with happy feet. Taylor has been incredibly impressive for someone that may have never even practiced with the 1st team and maybe not even the 2nd. Some very good throws with a couple of them dropped. If they have had him on the scout team all of this time, he may not have even practiced handoffs with Epstein.

They both did IMO - Taylor is not setting his feet on many/most of his passes. Fortunately the line is doing a decent job and his ability to get away from some pressure has given him the opportunity to makes some plays.

BheBhe dropped a first down on him early. I think overall he's doing well given 4th string, but if you have to leap high to get a snap (substitute center) - the quick handoff is probably not in the cards - just eat it and follow the back to the hole. Its all moving very fast for him no doubt so not meant to be critical - just is what it is.
