Could be gamesmanship by BU - where Curbelo isn’t playing today, but having him warm up forces PU to spend at least a few minutes preparing.

Probably a good sign overall though. If he doesn’t come back today, it could be soon.
I would put him in the book just because you have nothing to loose by doing it. Maybe it make Purdue have to adjust their thoughts some.

If its any consolation, my son is a Purdue alum and a huge Purdue fan and he hates Borowski & co. as much as we do. This officiating helps no one, but does increase the randomness of the final result.

Side note, my son is still a big Illini fan. We went to the 2005 National Championship game together when he was 14.
I've always had respect for Purdue and its program, whereas I've had nothing but enmity for IU over the years. And I really like Mackey Arena. It's a great venue.

Curbelo back, nationally televised game against a top 10 (maybe top 5 by game time) team while we sit alone at the top of the Big 10. LFG!!! I hope everyone is savoring the hell out of this.

It is a great atmosphere - low roof, lots of noise, but the narrow bench seats do get old. My son was in the Boiler Brass (basketball band) for four years and still plays at the games over Christmas break, so we have been to a number of games there - including the Illinois win in 2019.

Interesting, the game is not on my Dish channel guide. Hope it comes on at 11 or be prepared for a nuclear e explosion about 300 miles SW of campus.

I know it's a stretch...but the evidence is there from the way we finish the last two years.....if we get 'end of last year' Curbelo.....we can legit run the table.

It's a stretch, but not a huge stretch.

Love it. Then again, last night NBC showed WR Diontae Johnson of the Steelers during his pregame routine of being thrown tennis balls at close range to warm up his hand-eye-coordination. He proceeded to drop at least two, if not three, crucial passes against the Chiefs. 🤷‍♂️
But he played.......
