That was good D by Hawkins against Williams. Just nothing you can do when a guy makes a tough shot like that.

Look, I hate using the refs excuse as much as anyone here. We are losing this game because of poor shooting and a frustrated Kofi.

We will lose this game because they are blatantly calling the game tighter for Kofi than Edey and Williams. If you don't think that is so...I don't know what to tell you. At one point in the first half it was 10-2 FT's and 8-3 fouls against.

It's blatantly obvious with these two refs. Period.



Edit: and they literally made my point with that call on BBV....thanks again for playing.

Honestly, with all due respect to Kofi, if the smaller, more agile unit can get this close....Kofi needs to sit. The game turns into a half court slugfest when he's in and that's clearly advantage Purdue.

If Edey has a tough nite getting shots to fall, Purdue is beatable cause their plethora of shooters can't get enough shots to heat up. The would be better coming out shooting 3s and let Edey blend in...IMHO. But he has been superman on offense tonight.
