One thing is very noticeable.....our ability to switch on D is going to be so lethal once they get really comfortable.

We are going to cause problems with our length.

We have very quick and lively hands on defense, but way too much standing around once the shot goes up. Effort definitely hasn't been there with regards to crashing the defensive boards and that will need to be rectified fast.

Hawkins full court press is really effective with his length. It’s special to have a guy who’s 6-10 and can immediately press the opposing team’s point guard. He’s been incredibly disruptive in that role tonight.

Great post 80. That is the only truly informed observation one can make about the situation. No team can lose a player of his ilk and not take a big hit. Latulip stated the same on air. Hope he can be back by Feb. He is Lucas Johnson with a much better stroke from the arc.

--it's Quincy College, so the guys may lack some motivation tonight
--our 3 point shooting needs to improve quickly
--we lack a clear leader
--I see a lot of talent, just hope we figure out how to use it

It's obviously the first game, and probably getting out some jitters, and looking for an identity.
