No idea why players feel the need to grab a ball like that after the whistle has already blown.

Nice block, Payne! Loving our effort on defense so far.

Spacing is very good. It's awesome having guys that know how to put the ball in the hoop.

I haven't really followed their recruiting, but Rutgers just doesn't seem to have a lot of difference-making players.

Two things I see that must continue. Kofi making quick kickouts and Payne playing defense and boarding.

Wanted and knew Kofi had to kickout for two years...and it did not happen. If he does that, it is a total win as he will soon be one on one....or else this team will drain 3s all night forever. Let him go one on one and he scores 30+ on 75% shooting.

Payne has little skill but blessed physically. He must learn to use his physical blessings to the max. If he does so without fouling, he is invaluable to this team. Bill Russell 2.0...and Russell is an all-time top 5.

CoHawk playing outstading D tonight. Lots of great signs in this first half.

I think Hawkins has a bit of Brandon Peters in him when it comes to passing into the post — he waits too long to pull the trigger. Even that great assist he almost waited a bit too long. But can’t fault Hawk this half. He’s been great.

I liked that half very much! Please keep this play up through the first weekend in April! Besides early turnovers, very strong half on both ends.

Pretty simple....he has never done it before.
