Pretty amazing about Plummer when people were saying his minutes were gonna be limited lol .

Meacham confident that Plummer will break his record of 8 threes in a game. Likely to see it today. Sure helps those long scoring droughts to have a guy or two who can not only shoot 3s but can MAKE threes. There are a million shooters around, only a handful of makers in college game.

Good stuff so far. Good teams blow out bad teams. No surprises so far. Except for limited Melendez tick… is he healthy?

Imagine hearing in October that Plummer would be neck-and-neck with Kofi as our most important player this year.

Coleman is incredibly talented, and will be a great player for us - maybe even this season. But right now we are a better team with him on the bench.
Kofi-Frazier-Plummer-Grandison-DMW is just killing people offensively, and if they can rebound and guard at the other end (Arizona had too much length and skill for the latter) that's our best five.

Now let's watch Big10 networks horrible halftime show and miss the reunion of 01, 02 Illini. I miss the days when these telecast were local stations. About as much as our offense coming out of a timeout. Dribble, dribble, stand, and then take horrible shot.

I have absolutely no memory of that. Nope. Don't know what you're talking about. ;)

Crazy we gave up 12 offensive boards that half and are up 24… helps when you’re shooting the ball at a near 70% clip and forcing tough shots. A few of those SFU offensive rebounds were unlucky bounces, but I’m sure that’s the point of emphasis for BU in the locker room right now.

I thought many of their offensive rebound were due to bad shooting - long rebounds off he heel or balls just ticking the rim. We had decent position for a normal rebound, but those were few and far between.

There is a limit to how many offensive rebounds you can get when you shoot 70% from the field.

St Francis, meanwhile, was 4 for 24 from 2, Lotsa offensive rebound possibilities when you shoot that badly.

So at what 3pt % does a shooter get labeled a maker? It’s implied that a shooter makes shots at a good clip, otherwise why would anyone give a hoot.

Greatest question for me is will this team have ONE GAME THIS SEASON with turnovers in single digits? My guess is no.

That Thompson kid reminds me of Tracy Morgan in that old video game commercial

Best thing about this game is that it is a confidence builder for everyone...even with a poor opponent. Seeing shots go in is great for younger guys, and Trent is showing his confidence in this shot is returning. Need that badly. Plummer is slowly proving he can make bombs night after night against anyone.

Would like to see more Bossman For Dunk instead of Payne in the second half, as his upside potential seems higher at this point.
