Side note, I always joked with my Iowa friends that all of the sub-Rose Bowl bowls they'd play in were "meaningless" since there was no NCAA Tournament-like setup where you *could* win it all. I now realize that was obviously sour grapes ... win or lose, it is awesome to be in a game like this. That Braggin' Rights vibe with fans cheering no matter who makes a play plus a vacation destination is just cool.

SC isn't fast like Oregon so we got that going for us.
However they appear to be huge (and thus bigger than us) so that's not great.

Nice recovery by the defense to hold them to a FG, considering they were closing in on the end zone with ease. Hopefully this calms the offense down a bit, and we can go get some points!
