Game Thread: Illinois vs Southern Illinois

[LockportIllini70]

I get there is inexperienced players playing on the OL, but they also look very unprepared and that is on the coach.

[Marshall_Lucky]

Setting off the fireworks while illini are trying to kick a fg.. get it together people

[skyIdub]

Did Lunney call the fireworks play?

[phats22]

Mabye. I think 3 or 4 tackles and a recognizing their best player is on the field for a punt changes that game completely.

i agree with you, but even with those things happening we had multiple chances on O to end it and crapped the bed

Wrap up, Juice

[2X2L]

Zero points for Illini in third quarter? I just don't understand.

[FloridaMan]

Another great tackle. "Darn good D play this half" Bobby Hauk

Then Another holding no call

[JKR]

Nice tackle, Clark

[Chillinini]

Missed tackles…..that’s our identity.

[skyIdub]

Cool.

[aaeismacgychel]

There we go Matt! Finally got one! He looked fast as hell returning that

[FloridaMan]

Wish we had 11 Baileys!

[RIP_Chief_2003]

7 for 6!

[WolfpackIllini]

Thank you!
Pick 6

[TentakilRex]

Pick 6 Moline Maroon

[BDMAN]

The Illini defense is bad unless we can improve it we will not go bowling this year. Really belive it a classic case of personnel not matching the defense you want run and aa soon as I am about to send this Bailey for the pick 6

[spotter]

Thank you!
Pick 6

Ballgame

[foby]

First Int of Year done in Spectacular Fashion.

[Pikeillinifan]

Beautiful.

Let’s get through this and hopefully play a respectable game against OSU.

[ChiTown]

When you get to put pressure on the quarterback and make him uncomfortable, there’s higher possibility that the secondary will shine.

[TheFlyingIllini1317]

Still very concerned we havent gotten pressure with 5, but that's what you do vs an fcs team. Bring pressure and make em throw it in a tight window.
