We had about 13 at the 10 minute mark and were heading toward a 52 point game. That didn't take long to change!

I love this faster paced style of basketball. Players don't have it all figured out yet, so it's a work in process, but I still like it. Will be interesting to see how it works in the BIG conference games.

We are back, our PG play is good and deep. Nice to see guards that can shoot, dribble, and defend.

Love the defense, just need a shot blocker. Attn 6-10 shot blockers Illini need you. Fun team to watch.

I wonder too but it did seem to be working in the Big XII.

I am loving the pace of play and defensive pressure we are getting. This could be a good season. There will be games we should win and may not, but games we shouldn't and may. Who knows.

Have to wonder how many different guys will lead this team in scoring (in a game) this year. 6? 7?

Not quite back. We need a dominant frontcourt player. We have our coach though.

Gotta admit, other than the "young" mistakes made...this team is playing well, playing fast, look to be having fun. Thank you BU, Smith is a man already, DaMonte/Trent are both players, AJ looks to be much bigger than last year. This team will be fun to watch grow through out the season.

I actually think as far as team make up goes, these non conference teams might match up better with us than some of our bigger upcoming teams that are more traditional in roster players.

Smaller schools don't usually get athletic bigger guys, so the small guys can play with our guards for awhile...the bigger schools upcoming have better bigs, not sure they will be able to keep up with this style of play and our guards as they get better.
