Really appreciate the updates from fans who are there RE: the crowd breakdown! Obviously winning is the only real thing that matters, but it would also be cool to once again showcase that Illini Nation will travel well when invited to bowl games. There was a lot of message board chatter online last year about how the crowd at the Citrus Bowl was going to be a South Carolina home game ... instead, I would say they at best had a 55/45 split in their favor, and honestly the Illini fans sounded much louder and more passionate on TV, so it made up for it. It would be reasonable to expect more Tennessee fans at this one, but it would be a decently powerful message by Illini Nation that we are a big boy fan base if we are getting over 40% of the total crowd.

So, keep the updates comin'!

That's like three times Aguilar has been able to lean forward through a tackle. Twice were first downs and the other was the TD.

Be stronger defense.

worst part is each time, we had 3 guys making the tackle and he was still able to do it...

When your defense is 15 yards back from line of scrimmage run and throw short all day. Coaching is pathetic.

Trying to be way too cute. Just kick the FG and take the points. Could be up 13-7.

The first one was around 50 yards into the wind, and the last one was 4th and short with a kick around 45 yards. Completely fine with going on both of them. Not a great play call though on the last one. We aren't winning trying field goals (especially on 4th and managable 2), and I doubt both are made fg's.

Really?? Ecstatic if that’s true. I only saw one shot, but it looked like Tennessee had a lot more. Might have just been the part of the stadium shown.

TN bench side is 75-80 Vols. Illini side 60% Illini but my view isn’t great. End zones over 50% illini
