Outstanding 1st half everybody involved defense was great as well. Toppin will get his cant let anybody else go off in the 2nd half. Texas Tech better get the motor going fast. Illini could run away with this one otherwise.

I had said if he didn't work out the rust in four days I wasn't sure he was playable. I didn't think it was an unreasonable comment but some people took that to mean I was calling him permanently unplayable.

The two posters that said Andrej shouldn't play against Tech because he isn't at their level need to go on a self imposed exile for a game.

He is looking like our starting SG or SF. The scouting report on him was that he is a plus defender on SG due to his height, keaping ability and mobility. He is showing this today.

Lot to like. Cut down on the turnovers and start hitting the glass even harder. Scored 20 points on their 8 turnovers - sure feels like we were on the other side of that a lot last year. LFG, step on their throats first 5 minutes

Funny bc Texh missed 2-3 WIDE open ones bc of confusion, gotta hope we clean that up on D and that we punish them for giving us a 13 spot at the half.

We haven't had a team this deep in a verrrrrry long time. We have 3 - 5 scoring threats on the on the floor at all times (will only improve once folks are back from injury) and our defense is very good. It's very hard to recall a team that seemed this confident against another really good squad.

Well, I knew rebounding would be the key the way BU has been harping on before the season and reinforced multiple times by some great contributors. We are winning that battle, not running away with it, but doing everything they need to do there and the result is there.
