Story of the game is you cannot continue to go into the lane with Clingan in that lane. He is shotblocking at an elite level. Will BU and players adjust? They are taking away TSJ's downhill driving abilities and he isn't getting shots from 3 either.

Domask has kept us in this game but we need more. UConn giving us the opening we need to win this game. They haven't made their shots which is shocking to me

That was a physical half of basketball. I wonder if the refs start calling more fouls in the second half. Won't really be beneficial the way we're bricking freebies.

What is with the pace of this game? I thought it was going to be a track meet? They promoted the game by saying "if you like to see offensive basketball, stay tuned".

A faster pace would presumably get TSJ going, and would reduce the Clingan half-court D factor. I just dont get it.

College kids playing tight. Nerves are real, even for elite athletes. That's why anything can happen.

Just need to try to get in a track meet with them. I don't think Clingan would be able to keep up. We are playing great D which has us right in this one. Just need to take some shots instead of taking it at Clingan, refs not going to call anything on him.

You'd think that having played against Edey for multiple yrs, that they wouldn't be intimidated by Clingan but they have let Clingan affect their shots and their game

we can’t have everyone have a bad game at the same time. i think TSJ will get his in the second half but someone out of the goode, guerrier, hawkins, dainja group has to hit some shots

Exactly.

Down 9-0 to start. Wasted a dozen possessions chasing that second foul. Very possible to outscore them by six in the second half if we just focus on scoring.
