Am I allowed to ask about Rodger's inability to shoot a jump shot from any distance on the floor? The young man is an athletic freak, and that in and of itself has merit, but he cannot shoot (at all), and it feels like no one ever talks about it. The free throw line only proves this point, and yet, little is said. His energy is infectious, and his heart has few equals, but he cannot shoot... at all.

Guerrier is doing what Hawkins was doing earlier in the year. Pass up open 3 and then immediately take a contested 3 or out of control drive.

Once Hawkins stopped doing that, he started clicking. Guerrier needs to stop doing that or be on the bench. In fact, I'd put dainja in to start 2nd.

I loved it when Stan Van Gundy said that the college game is more physical than the NBA game. That's why college basketball is better than the NBA. Yes, the NBA has the athletes and superb offensive game but who needs 140 pt games. We want physicality, we want defense, we want offense, and we want a better product than what the NBA provides. The 1990s were the glory days for the NBA. Ever since then, the NBA has gotten soft while college basketball is the more physical of the two. That is a sad state of affairs for the NBA

I like college basketball but a foul is a foul. We didn't even get in the bonus in the first half. UConn got away with a lot in that first half.

Clingan is way quicker and a much better shot blocker than Edey.

I agree, he is more mobile and probably has a better reach than Edey but Edey is not some sloth either. He is fairly mobile himself

They literally celebrated that way almost every win. Just not with the water guns. We are playing hard, UConn hasn’t played a tournament game within 15 points in 9 games, we were never going to run them out of the gym.

We just outplayed Iowa state. We are playing the best team in the last five years of college and we are down 5 at half with our best player scoring 2 points.

what a dumb take. We're down 5 to the best team in the tournament probably since 06-07 Florida (tournament performance-wise) and that's your thought? Some people will literally NEVER be content. If we won a natty, I'm sure there would be something to complain about then too right? Sheesh...
