I understand what you're saying. It is probably why they should shorten the NBA season to maybe 65-70 games but they won't do that b/c of growing player salaries. The brand of basketball that we saw from the Bulls over a decade ago was really popular amongst the fanbase and was why they were so popular compared to the teams of the last 8-10 yrs

Teams nowadays in the NBA aren't popular??? On a thread that's had some pretty bad takes, this may be one of the worst.

Not to be a conspiracy guy, but it almost feels like the NCAA has some reason to not want Shannon to be a star and/or make the final four.

Guys love my Illini, but UConn is the more talented team we would have to play perfect to beat them and we are not playing that way at all. We are not out of it yet, but should we go down this is one of my favorite Illini teams. They reversed the curse now we need to get back here again in the future soon.

Stick it out. It's been a great year. While hope is always eternal, very few rationally had us winning this game. UConn is a whole different animal. They're the best team in college basketball and it's not remotely close.
