Man, this isn't a must win. But we could really really use a win here to stem this little slump we're on and put us back on a 1 or 2 seed trajectory.

Don't love the thought of Hurley's offense vs our defense.

But it just feels like we're due for a game where we click and make some shots.

New blues. Can't lose.

Illinois by 8.

Make close to 40% or more from 3 and not have a Swiss cheese defense then we got a chance..Otherwise, the Bears have a better shot today..

Anyone know what happens in Chicago when scheduled Bears pregame starts on Fox? Fox Sports app only shows Fox Chicago; not sure if it streams independently as well?

I’m sure this is in the pregame thread but don’t want to go searching through pages.

Anyone near Chicago know where they are putting the game once the the Bears game comes on FOX?

It does feel like we’re due to make shots. A lot of good looks generated in the Alabama game (and frankly the last 2 buy games) that didn’t go down. But I think we’ll know by the U16 if we’re going to compete or not. If we come out with flat energy, it’s going to be a long day regardless of whether shots go in.

I think small, quick lineups are going to be our achilles heel this year, and UConn profiles a bit more like us with some good off-ball movement you have to prepare for. I think we can hang around and win this game.

We have plenty of guys who can shoot it, but not (it seems right now) consistently. I hope to see more Petro PT and I'd like to see him shoot more threes. I'd also like to see Stoy do the same. Some think we'll have problems guarding UConn's smaller, quicker players. That may be true, but who knows? And the other side of that coin is this: UConn will have to find a way to deal with our size.

I think it all depends upon how healthy we all actually are. If the Ivisic bros and Petro are close to 100% we can absolutely win. If Ben and Jake play a lot, I feel like we're going to get worked.
