Huge missed open three by Ben at the 16:20 mark. 0/9 on our last 3 point shots- and we are supposed to be a good shooting team? At least we seem to be playing with a bit more intensity so far. Good to see Reed out with 3 fouls and when he comes back in we need to get another on him quickly.

Michigan, Purdue, and MSU are head and shoulders above the Illini right now. Some players have changed but it looks like the same team as last season.

I agree with you. I applaud Brad for trying to stretch out his budget and he went the European route to do it, but two years in a row now it's pretty plain to see to physical limitations when playing legitimate contenders.

Is Brad the only one who can't see that Tomi is unplayable at this point, and needs to work his way back against lesser competition? Also, will he ever discover that this is not a 3 point shooting team against any kind of competent defense? Letting it fly from deep and making only 24% is something UConn loves.

I want to blame a lot of things… Brad, stoj, Mirk, whatever. The fact is you HAVE to hit shots and we just don’t hit shots when we need it. No one can step up and knock down a big 3. Say what you want about KJ but he was the only one who could do that for most of last year
