We need to finish at the rim and hope the officials don’t try to keep the fouls even. They will foul us a lot more than we foul them.

Then we need to make free throws.

This game is there for the taking.

We’ve been a second half team this tourney.

I just hope they're not reliving the drubbing they took during the regular season. They're not playing THAT badly, thankfully, but they need to kick it up and sink the baskets.

This is whatever said all year but NOT how we have approached this tourney. 40 pts in the paint last game.

They kept talking about the lack of assists for Illinois. Well, when shots don't fall off some of these great looks, of course the number of assists are low.

Illini will need a good shooting 2nd half, but those have been few and far between the last month or so.

We hit the side of the backboard on two threes and shot two air balls. Both occurrences led to run outs. If shots were just rimming out, that happens. Some of the shots that we've taken have come because of a lack of movement and some came from poor decision making.

Mirko-Man getting his 2nd foul took the wind out of our run when we got the lead.......we have been second half gangbusters during this tourney run.......have faith Illini Nation and send positive vibes to the beloved...........

great block by Ben.....need a couple 3's from Jake and increased intensity on D....make our FT's and hit some 3's and we have a good chance to survive and advance...........keep driving the rim Andre ......

we can do this..............we really really can.............

Boswell is handling the ball well, but he is bringing nothing to the table as a scorer. I think he and Drej need to attack the basketball all sexond half. We ahould only be shooting the 3 if we're open at this point. We can still win this thing, but the bad offense needs to be behind us for 60 minutes.

100%. Certainly a couple forced shots, but there were so many great, open looks that rimmed out or were off.

We got to the Final Four not shooting great. That is a testament to the effort level of crashing the boards and outworking opponents, but to win a championship, open shots need to fall.

Captain obvious Illinois needs to make some open shots and move the ball (assist)

Been great with adjustments in 2nd half in ncaat.

Might need to start doing some switching on D. Im surprised we stayed with our man the 1st half. Very hard to do against Uconn. If anything the guys need to hedge some on the side screens. They are getting way to open.
